Conversation With Cool Boss
Last week, the
office held an editorial rotation, and the National desk got new editors, who
happened to be the two nice editors from the Sunday desk. One of them is Cool
Boss! Yay!

The Funny, Forgetful And Geeky Parents I Have
Sleeping with eyeglasses on
Overhearing the conversations in my home can result in giggles. Here are some samples.
The Mysterious Case Of Eyeglasses
D: Why is everything so clear? How come I already have my eyeglasses on?
M: You're sleeping with it on. That's why.
Mysterious menu
Situation: during dinner.
M: Would you like to eat this chicken?
D: Yes, sure. Thanks, dear.
(A few minutes later)
D: Hey, what is this? (pointing at something on his plate with his fork)
M: That's chicken.
Ask A Friend Or 50:50?
Situation: during leisure time, I filled in a crossword quiz.
Me: Hey D, what is (put the clue here)? It starts with (insert a letter here), have (place a number here) letters and ends with (insert another letter here).
D: What did I just hear? You need help? Would you like to ask a friend? Or the first rank? (He's imitating presenters of quiz show 'Ranking 1')
Me: *facepalm*
Me: *facepalm*

A Star Is Born
Source: here
Since I've started the week with a picture of the sky, it seemed things have led me to find other outer space phenomenon and object. For example, the lunar eclipse last week and the pictures taken by Hubble telescope, which I found in this lovely blog.
Anyway, if you have a penchant for some galaxy observation, you'd probably excited to learn that there will be a Geminid meteor rain between Dec. 13-14. It's the last meteor rain this year. I hope the weather is clear. Let's lie down on our back and see the meteors pass by. Read more about it here.

The Many Phases Of A Lunar Eclipse
Now
you see me, now you don’t. A composite shows the moon in various stages
of a total lunar eclipse in Padang, West Sumatra, on Saturday night.
The eclipse occurred for about one hour, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., and was
clearly visible in Padang. Photographed by Iggoy el Fitra for Antara Photo. Found here

Back With Two Cats
My darlings, I'm here! Oh dear, how long have I abandoned you, my dear blogs? *clean out the dust* Sorry for the radio silence, I've been overwhelmed by works (lame reason, but it just is). While work life has always been hectic, things have taken a slow, peaceful pace in personal life.
My home now becomes a haven for a cat mom and her kitten. So every time I'm leaving home or arriving home, these two felines always welcome me on the porch. Since they are so cute, I can't help but taking their pictures. Here they are.
