Pachyderm Patrol

Local World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Riau workers on elephants patrol the forests near Tesso Nilo in Riau on Sunday. The workers want to guide wild elephants deeper into the jungle to avoid human encounters, a strategy that the WWF says has reduced the number of human-elephant incidents by 90 percent.
